This conference had a clear objective: improving the quality of the decision-making process. Our client asked us to create the design for two gamified processes:
- a Conference Game – a team game which was supposed to be played during coffee and lunch breaks. This way, participants would apply all the information received during sessions through fun activities.
- an activity dedicated to the conference’s closing moment. Our objective for this activity was to raise the participants’ energy and provide them with the motivation to apply all the discussed topics. Also, it meant to strengthen the principles and key messages which were communicated during the 3 days event.
Both games focused on creating situations and experiences where participants needed to make difficult choices and to reflect on the effects of their decisions. Through interaction with our “secret agents” who had clear and specific roles in the conference, we managed to create challenging and fun contexts, from which the participants learned useful information for their daily activities.
